A FRIEND OF OURS.

By Dawn Saiger

In our lives we meet different people each day and just the other morning I met a man with a nice tan who ran on the beach and ate a peach everyday.

This man was so much in love with life that he became a preacher when his wife died seven years ago now, through his own tears he knows how much he had missed his love who had fit into his world like a glove.

He would sometimes say to people "love who you are and love the things God gave you for you aren't here forever"

Sometimes this man would move faster than the animals would but, then again  he could do that he was hard to reach to teach him to slow down.

He became everyone's friend and he would keep his cool and not act like a fool while he was drinking his beers among his peers.

Now, we fear and hold back our tears as our friend is done and gone.
