A simple click to
the left on the handle activates a light, surrounded by a red signal, that
illuminates up
to six feet. A
further click to the left on the handle activates the massage feature to
relieve tension and stress on any part of the body. A click to the right
on the handle activates a pulsating alarm for any type of emergency
Constructed of lightweight aluminum (red and black canes are coated with
special paints), it weighs only 1.8 lbs. and is easy for everyone to use

Tzu-Keng Cheng has been a successful businessman in Taiwan for over 20 years, and the President of Norte Sirius Enterprise Co. Ltd. (www.sirius.com.tw), a company that manufactures and distributes a varied line of affordable home health and beauty massage products. In 1994 Cheng noticed a void in products manufactured specifically for the mature adult and people with disabilities or limited mobility, and enlisted his team of engineers for what turned out to be three years of design, development and refinement. Cheng registered his patent for the STIGUARD (the name is a combination of the two words, Stick and Guard) in 1997, and, after much success in Japan and Western European markets, has now begun U.S. and Canadian sales and distribution of the unique product.
